Remember how we used to celebrate CNY during primary school times? Those traditional CNY songs, quizzes & games, CNY origin stories, performances in the school hall etc. Somehow the CNY mood weaken yearly, every year I lost relatives & not much places for me to go for visiting. Only these few years, relatives start to nag & ask me about having boyfriend. Such a norm as you reach a certain age. Sometimes going to distant relatives' house, all we could talk about is Singapore's politics, work life & nothing else more. Kinda boring, zzz. The best thing I did during this festive season was visiting Chinatown after 12 strikes on New Year Eve coz' that is when all the stalls will cut/reduce the prices. Shopped for foods & came back around 4am. Right beside us was a car who just parked few minutes after us, a young chap came out who was the driver, opened the passenger's seat door & tried to wake his friend up. I could only see that fellow leg, it was slim so I thought the person must be his gf who was exhausted after some cny shopping. After waking the person up for 5 minutes, no response was given. I really thought there laid a dead person even when the hands were lifted up, they just fell due to gravity. Oh wait a minute, I forgot to inform you that I was still in my dad's car, fixing the damn window. It got stuck at 4am -_-. After 10 minutes had passed, out came another young chap, obviously he looked drunk. Entirely blonde hair trying to act cool can't even stand on his own. He must have wasted himself on liquors on CNY. Tried to walk & he just collapsed to the ground with a loud thud. Amazingly he's not dead, went back to the car & off they go. Young people nowadays are so brainless. FUN OVER HEALTH?! Many people die at a young age due to reckless driving, drinking, smoking etc. After 30 years, aging population will not be a problem anymore.

 Once again, the time to jot down our New Year Resolution on the eve. 1) To watch my weight, not literally. I just gotta move my arse. 2) Spend my hard-earned money wisely. 3) Find time to cook! 4) Initiate family bonding times, including Russell. 5) Do more volunteer work, help more people. 6) MORE quality time spend with friends like youuuu. 7) Find a boyfriend. 8) Eat healthier & Sleep earlier. 9) Learn how to play a guitar. 10) Be content with what I have.

10 Promises to my dog.
That's what I watched on Christmas day. It actually shook me hard in reminding me that my Russell has been with me for 10 years as well. He's not young anymore, going to be eleven in weeks to come. An impactful, sad story to tell. Having a dog really change your life, I never regret taking care of him. He's the first one I seek to when I am down or stress. His eyes, his hairs & his smell are so therapeutic. Time really flies, he has been sleeping a lot recently. Not as crazy as before. Dog's indeed Man Best Friend. You gotta have one after you build your own love nest! Seen many dog adoption fb pages from you, yeah you can just adopt one cute lil fluffy thing!

At last, I survived week 1 of my work.
Seem like a month has passed.
Hahas, Every single minutes I am cracking & wrecking my brain to find a solution.
My brain was dead since 4 months ago after I graduated or even earlier it has deteriorate it's important function..
I had a hard time turning on my engine but Thank God my colleagues are very patient and helpful and passionate in teaching me.
The best thing to look forward to at work is your surrounding colleagues!
They left me no choice but to speak Mandarin Chinese, I find it awkward to speak it daily. Hahahas, I sound like some chiiiiii...speaking, with the rolling of tongue.
I need to brush up in my chemistry...my chinese.
& I met other colleagues whom are much older than me.
Probably it's an advantage coz they will naturally look after "xiao mei".
I am so blessed!
Who cares about those rumours concerning the end of the days?
Live like there's no tomorrow everyday so we will not fear when that day come unexpectedly!

I 'am sooooo excited for my new job! Yes! No words can express my feelings now. I have fought through the tough period and finally see the silver lining. I actually studied on how to write a good resume & cover letter as well as how to ace your interviews. Well, hard work finally paid off! Scrapped through 2 horrendously long interviews with super duper detail digging of personal characters. In the morning, I went over to sign the Appointment Letter and woah indeed they are a service added company! The HR lady will be waiting for me at the allocated company bus pick up location on the first day. Furthermore, I am so lucky. Their D&D is before Christmas & I get to join them. I can't wait to travel to farms! Thanks for the greetings!  This is how I feel now, a simple nudge can make me feel so blissed! I believed my life will take a turn now, busy schedule as well. But still, must make a point to update your life as well! See ya woman! (;
